Bangladesh Safe Food Authority, District Office, Manikganj organized a training workshop on safe jaggery production and iftar preparation, sale and serving among jaggery traders and iftar preparation restaurants in Manikganj district on March 20 at National Polytechnic Institute, Manikganj.
Mr. Dr. Sahadev Chandra Saha, Director, Bangladesh Safe Food Authority was present as the chief guest.
District Safe Food Officer Mr. Md. Noor-e-Alam Sohag was present as a discussant in the programme.
The program sheds light on the dos and don'ts of producing jaggery and preparing a safe iftar during the holy month of Ramadan. In the discussion, food workers express their views and commit to safe food preparation.
