Public awareness school program on safe food for school students under the initiative of District Office, Manikganj-2024-25, Oxford Academy, Manikganj, Shivaloy.

On November 20, 2024, a public awareness school program on safe food was organized with school girls on the initiative of Bangladesh Safe Food Authority, District Office, Manikganj at Oxford Academy of Shibaloy Upazila, Manikganj.
The program was attended by Mr. Belal Hossain, head teacher and senior teachers of the school. Safe Food Officer Mr. Md. Noor-e-Alam Sohag, District Office, Manikganj was present as the President. Upazila Sanitary Inspector was also present.
At this time school students are given ideas about 5 basic concepts of safe food, how food becomes unsafe and why safe food is needed.  TVCs on safe food are shown to them through projectors.
Safe food awareness leaflets, family food guidelines, notebooks, pens were distributed among the present students.
