District Office, Manikganj initiated public awareness school program about safe food among school students-2024-25, Shahid Smarnika High Girls School, Manikganj, Ghior.

On November 19, 2024, a public awareness school program on food safety was organized with the school girls by the initiative of Bangladesh Safe Food Authority, District Office, Manikganj at Shahid Samarnika High Girls School of Ghior Upazila of Manikganj.
Mr. Zahir Uddin, head teacher and senior teachers of the school were also present as guests in the program. Safe Food Officer Mr. Md. Noor-e-Alam Sohag, District Office, Manikganj was present as the President. Upazila Sanitary Inspector was also present.
During this time school students are given ideas about 5 basic concepts of safe food, how food becomes unsafe and why safe food is needed.  TVCs on safe food are shown to them through projectors.
Safe food awareness leaflets, family food guidelines, notebooks, pens were distributed among the present students.
