On March 12, Bangladesh Safe Food Authority, District Office, Manikganj organized a training workshop on safe iftar preparation, sale and serving among the food workers of different restaurants preparing iftar in Manikganj district in the conference room of district administration, Manikganj.
Mr. Rehana Akhter, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate, Manikganj was present as the chief guest and Mr. Md. Tariqul Islam, Additional District Commissioner (General), Manikganj was present as the president.
District Safe Food Officer Mr. Md Noor-e-Alam Sohag was present as the main speaker in the program.
The program sheds light on the do's and don'ts of preparing a safe Iftar in the holy month of Ramadan. In the discussion, food workers express their views and commit to safe food preparation.
